Another photo of my workspace, this time not in complete silhouette. you can actually see all the little bits and pieces in this shot. At this point in time I was doing some music composition. I also do most of the graphic and video art on this computer.
Breakdown of parts: The QWERTY keyboard is special because it was specifically designed for user with Premiere Pro, and has a jog wheel and shuttle along with other useful tools. The actual musical keyboard is a Semi-weighted 88-key MIDI controller. Has a very nice feel, not quite so heavy as a hammer action, which tends to get in the way when using more nimble instrument patches. Couple of Dell 24" screens on dual span. Liliput mini monitor for real time video and audio monitoring... and to patch the TV to my desk if a good show is on lol! Sony MDR CD-780 studio headphones. PC is a Quad Core 3.6Ghz, 8gb RAM, and about 6TB (6,000GB) of disk space all up. Makes editing uncompressed HD video a whole lot easier. Sometimes use the webcam for cross continental project collaboration. But mostly I like to just warp my face and send it to my friends. Oh and if you have a look hiding behind the headphones, there is my power supply.... the Coke Zero. Nectar of the obsessive compulsive! |
